Does anyone else feel like older budget phones, like the Redmi 3 Prime, still hold up surprisingly well compared to some of the newer, supposedly “affordable” models? I keep seeing marketing about insane improvements every year, but when I compare basic tasks like messaging, streaming, or light gaming, I don’t see that much of a difference that justifies shelling out more money every couple years.
Is it just nostalgia, or are we all falling for incremental updates that don’t really matter for most users? Would love to hear if anyone’s tried going back to an older phone recently and what that experience was like compared to brand new models.
