Whoa, Mi Note 9 Pro squad - I just unlocked something wild today that’s totally transforming my daily driver! After tinkering with the latest HyperOS beta (grab it via Xiaomi’s site if you’re on global ROM), I discovered you can force-enable “adaptive refresh rate simulation” through a simple ADB command (no root needed!):
adb shell settings put global peak_refresh_rate 90.0
adb shell settings put global min_refresh_rate 60.0
Then reboot.
Boom - my 60Hz screen feels like 90Hz in games and scrolling! Apps like PUBG Mobile and Chrome are buttery smooth now, with zero battery hit (still getting 8+ hours SOT). Tested on Snapdragon 720G stock, and it’s stable AF.
Screenshots of FPS gains attached. Has anyone else pulled this off? What tweaks are you stacking on top? Drop your results - let’s make this beast fly in 2024! 🚀📱
